DALLAS, TX --  This isn't your ordinary tree lighting ceremony.  You have U.S. Gold Medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White performing on ice. Not to mention, America's biggest indoor 95-foot Christmas tree at the Galleria Dallas.

"I think maybe it's maybe the most spectacular tree I've seen," Davis told NewsFix. "To be able to skate around it and have it be a part of our performance just adds to the feeling."

White is ecstatic to perform at the Macy's Grand Tree Lighting Celebration.

"This is the second consecutive year we've been able to do this and it gets us in the spirit for the holidays and I think it gets everyone else as well."

And there's more to get you in the spirit.  The Galleria has fireworks that ignite in sync with the tree lighting. What's more, there's probably the coolest Santa ever, Missile Toes, rocketing around the ice rink.

"Our back flipping Santa who also has fireworks off his skates," Martha Hinojosa, Director of Marketing for the Galleria Dallas, said.

As well as lots of area figure skaters of all ages putting on a magnificent performance for tired shoppers.

"Every Saturday starting tomorrow through Christmas we will have the Macy's Grand Tree Lighting Celebration at 6.p.m. and it's free," Hinojosa said.

Now Davis and White will only be performing one more time this Saturday.  No worries though,  the Galleria will have an arsenal of other Olympic medalists performing for the tree lighting.

So, if your looking for a tree lighting to take your family to.  Yeah, it's definitely this one.
