ROME -- Seems like Pope Francis might be on the same page as the Grinch this year! He says Christmas is going to be a "charade" because the "whole world is at war" and hasn't "understood the way of peace."

Geesh! Could those words turn Santa into Scrooge?

There's no question, things have been somber since terrorists attacked Paris and ISIS threatening to wreak havoc on other countries around the world-- including the U.S.

But just because the Pope's Christmas spirit is questionable, it doesn't mean he's not in the giving spirit! After receiving a papal kiss, a Philadelphia baby who's suffering from a rare brain tumor has apparently made an amazing recovery.

Back in September, the one-year-old's family showed up for Pope Francis' U.S. visit, hoping to catch a glimpse but ended up getting a special blessing. The family claims the sacred smooch has made the baby girl's tumor drastically smaller.

Well,  as long as the Pope keeps giving out those kisses, we're pretty sure this whole "Christmas charade" just might bring joy to the world instead.
