VALLEY RANCH — Hide your playbooks, keep an eye out for spy drones and check the PSI on the footballs one last time. The Patriots are in town this weekend, folks!

Hey, remember when Tom Brady was supposed to be suspended and this Sunday would be Tony Romo vs. Jimmy Garoppolo? Well now, it’s Brady vs. Weeden, and the Cowboys are trying to avoid their first three-game losing streak in the Jason Garrett era.

“We just have to keep fighting and keep pushing,” said running back Joseph Randle.

The good news? Reinforcements are finally coming back for the depleted Boys in the form of Rolando McClain and Greg Hardy.

But the drama surrounding the “Kraken” has far from subsided and Coach Garrett had to address the comments he made about “guns blazing” and Tom Brady’s wife.

“That’s not how we want to operate in this organization. The players and coaches understand that,” said Garett. “We want to distinguish ourselves with our play, not with what we say.”

Hey, we could definitely think of a better term for Hardy to use than “coming out guns blazing” all things considered, but he’s right about one thing: this whole team, from Weeden to Randle to Hardy to Lee, will have to come out blazing on Sunday if they want a shot to take down the Brady Bunch.
