ATLANTIC CITY, NJ -- Miss Georgia might've been crowned Miss America 2016 Sunday night, but a few other moments stole the show at the annual pageant in Atlantic City.

After 32 years, Vanessa Williams returned to the stage as a guest judge. The former beauty queen was crowned Miss America back in 1984, making her the first African-American to hold the title.

But, that was quickly overshadowed when nude photos of her leaked and she was forced to resign.

Fast forward three decades. The head of the Miss America organization, Sam Haskell, served an apology to Williams and her mom.

“I want to apologize for anything that was said or done that made you feel any less the Miss America you are, and the Miss America you always will be,” Haskell said.

Williams might've had the most congenial moment of the contest.

But Miss Georgia, Betty Cantrell, might've figured out in 20 seconds what the NFL has debated  for seven months.

Yeah, her answer to Tom Brady’s Deflategate scandal might have actually won her the crown!

"I think I have to be there to see the ball and feel it and make sure it was deflated,” Cantrell initially answered. Then the beauty queen followed up with this gem...

“If there was question there,” Cantrell added. “Then, yes, I think he cheated!”
