LOS ANGELES —  Don’t let a pretty face fool you, there’s a new internet scam that’s got cops on high alert. According to TMZ,  a fake modeling agency is using social media to lure in women for sex.

In a sketchy post, the scammers claim they’re in search of aspiring models.

The company then directs interested women to video chat with a famous face. The famous face happens to be model Amber Rose, a well known video vixen in the entertainment industry. She’s also rapper Wiz Khalifa’s estranged wife and Kanye’s ex-girlfriend.

Once the women were online with “Amber,” the call would  just happen to  disconnect. Turns out, the suspects were using an old U-stream video of Amber– without her permission.

The ladies were also asked to go on dates and have sex with rich men in order to book a gig with Amber Rose.

A model exposed everything to LAPD, setting off a possible prostitution ring investigation.

No word from Amber Rose on the situation.

Beware ladies, some things are too good to be true, even if it does come with a smile!
