NEW YORK CITY -- Call him Teflon Trump because nothing seems to stick to him. After last week's GOP debate, The Donald has had to answer for remarks he made about Fox anchor Megyn Kelly to CNN's Don Lemmon.

“She starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions, and you know, you can see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever," Trump said.

That left many insinuating Kelly was on her period after her hard-hitting questions.

"I'm a big girl. I can take it. I understand why people get upset. The stakes are high here,” said Kelly.

But Trump says that's not what he meant.

"I was going to say nose and or ears because that's a very common statement, blood flowing out of somebody's nose. It's a statement showing anger,” said Trump.

Now some women have sent Trump a message of their own on Twitter using #PeriodsAreNotAnInsult.

So, if you're keeping score, Trump's managed to insult Hispanic immigrants, our war veterans, and women and is still at the top of the Republican polls. Hey Trump, something tells us you don't want to cross American women, period!
