FORT WORTH— It's T-minus 26 days until the first day of school in DISD.  So, whether your student is excited or less than thrilled, let’s face it, you have got to have those back-to-school items.  And Amazon is trying to help.

“Back to school is an exciting time for everyone, whether it’s parents or students,” Amazon spokesperson Kiesha Clayton said.  “Amazon back-to-school is one of our busiest times of the summer. You’re going to find everything you need from dorm room decor to backpacks and lunch boxes.”

NewsFix stopped by the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Fort Worth Tuesday, and there is much action here!

“It’s about the size of 28 football fields,” she added. “We actually have Amazon robotics bringing customer orders to fulfillment center associates.”

They’ve got a way to streamline those well-known school supply lists.

“Amazon school list is a great place for teachers to actually go and create their lists online and share that with parents of students in their classes," Morgan said. "And those parents can basically drop everything into their cart and have it shipped to their door directly.”

“For our K-12 kids, we have these great lunch boxes and pails from Skip Hop,” Clayton explained while showing various items.  “For college students, this is a smart speaker. You can actually talk to it, and ask it questions and tell it what music you want to hear, and it will play it for you.”

“You can actually get free content like shows, so you don’t necessarily need cable,” she said of the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Talk about back-to-school in style!
