DALLAS -- Alright Dallas, you asked and he answered. We got more Garth!
On Friday, the Garth Brooks shows set for September 18th and 19th sold out in less than five minutes. That's 100,000 tickets sold at the AAC before noon.
So, here's how much Garth we're getting:
- Garth on Thursday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m
- A double dose of Garth on Friday, September 18 at 7 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.
- Saturday, September 19 at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Hey Garth, is that enough to make you feel our love?
Now folks at the AAC are prepping for the fandemonium that's about to hit downtown Dallas.
"The timeframe will be pretty short, so we'll have to ask our guests to be patient with us. Let us get the building cleaned the way we want it to get cleaned and we'll open up the doors and when Garth’s ready to get on the stage then we'll be ready to go," said Ken Kuhl, Vice President & Even Development at the AAC.
But with so many people boot scoot and bogeying their way to see Garth, what does that mean for parking and traffic?
"We really want to encourage people to use DART as much as they can because that won’t affect any of the parking or traffic, so we really encourage them to use those options," said Kuhl.
Hey, having Garth in Dallas after 17 years feels just as good as cheating on your diet with chocolate cake!
Want to catch the G-man this September? Well, tickets are on sale now. You know what to do!
