DALLAS -- The wait is over and folks in Highland Park can celebrate. Yep, there's a new "King of the Throne," the portable throne, that is.

It's been a month since Highland Park officials told construction companies to cover up all their porta potties. Well, one company decided to make a competition out of it.

"We asked people to come up with any design they wanted and got a lot of really good ones back," contractor Stephen Sardone with Sardone Construction said.

How about a castle to blend in with the rest of the neighbors?

Hey, even NewsFix came up with some ways to cover up the crappy commodes. But our ideas were, uh.. flushed.

Now the real winners are in. And coming in at number one is a discreet divider.

"It was just to come up with something modular easy to build, with just 2x4s and 2x2s, just cedar because it smells a little better," first place winner Brian Paletz said while laughing.

And number two...

"I saw a design on Pinterest where you just take a pallet apart and make it a planter kind of thing," explained Matthew Jacobson, second place winner. "So I was like well, stack a few of those up and make yourself a nice little screen."

Eddie Hale made the top three. But unlike the guys who placed ahead of him, he isn't an architect. Hale works for an ad agency and was inspired by a Highland Park mainstay -- the "Million Dollar Monarch" tree.

"Never thought they would pick mine. I just wanted to have fun with it," Hale said.

Hey, who doesn't want to do their business in a tree?!

While you won't see a million dollar tree hiding the potties, you can expect to see the first place design within the next month or two.

Yeah, the folks in Highland Park can take a seat knowing they won't have to raise a stink anymore about these potties.
