NEW YORK, NY — It looks like the King of Nightly News is set to return from the land of shame. According to CNN, suspended 	Brian Williams arrives on the red carpet of the White House Correspondents Dinner on May 9, 2009. We’re sure Brian has appreciated the distraction caused by fellow liar Rachel Dolezal as of late.

So, Williams will return to NBC — just not as the anchor of NBC Nightly News. His permanent replacement will be Lester Holt who’s been with NBC since 2000.

According to the CNN report, Brian’s new role will now be with the network’s cable news channel MSNBC where we’re sure there won’t be any more “misremembering” of facts.

So, welcome back Brian. We think this is a story that we can actually believe.
