PLANO - You might remember Victoria McKennon, the Plano Senior High School student with cystic fibrosis. She was told in January she couldn't walk at her graduation if she didn't complete her last credit in time -- something her many visits to the hospital made impossible.
While making one of those visits Tuesday, she received some good news. She'll get to walk after all!
It's a major victory in a battle Victoria's family has been fighting since January. They've had plenty of support -- an online petition and a rallying cry, "Let her walk!"
The McKennons say the news takes stress off Victoria and will allow her to focus more on her health, and that's the most important thing.
