ARLINGTON - What if we told you that you could experience one of the biggest thrills of your life, not in 3D but 4D? Nope, this isn't another April Fools prank to add to your misery. It's the latest ride at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.

It's called Justice League: Battle for Metropolis. You'll battle alongside Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern against Lex Luthor and the Joker. That's quite the line-up.

So, how will this ride be different from all the other coasters? It's also a video game, meaning you'll actually be able to help defeat some of the superheroes' enemies.

The ride will boast 18 screens, including five interactive 4D screens.

When it opens, it will be the only ride of its kind in North America. Plus, it's not just about fun. Be ready to see how you rank against the competition after the ride is done.

Six Flags Park President Steve Martindale thinks the ride will offer a different experience for guests.

“Gamers will like it because you'll see your score at the end of the ride," Martindale said. "And know how you stacked up against the other people in your car.”

Six Flags expects the ride to be ready in time for this summer. So, get ready to beat the heat this season by defeating "the forces of evil!"
