OAK CLIFF - About a mile from the Bishop Arts area, Jonathon's Oak Cliff has become a staple in the community. Set in what seems like a quaint house, Jonathon's feels like you're having food at a friend's place. A very crowded friend's place.

Jonathon and Christine Erdelijac have been married almost 14-years, and both have been in the food industry even longer.  So, when it came time to open their own place three and a half years ago, it was a no-brainer.

In fact, it's been such a success that Jonathon and Christine are opening up another restaurant on Beckley, just up the street from Jonathon's Oak Cliff.  It's called Kessler Park Eating House. "This restaurant is more about me and my child hood and the food I ate growing up," Jonathon says.

Jonathon tells NewsFix that they're scheduled to have a soft opening this Friday, March 27, at Kessler Park Eating House. After that, he says, "We will start with dinners for the first week, then roll out brunch Easter weekend, with lunches to follow shortly after that."

If you're in the neighborhood, stop by for a bite at Jonathon's Oak Cliff, or (after March 27) Kessler Park Eating House. You won't be disappointed.
