HUNT COUNTY, TX - What's going on in Hunt County? Someone shot a dog to death Thursday night in a  quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Caddo Mills.  The body of "Zoom," a Shih Tzu, was left near a basketball goal so its 8-year-old owner would see it.

Information is scarce, but the SPCA and Hunt County Constables are investigating the case. A $600 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible.

This comes just days after a Hunt County Volunteer Firefighter was arrested for killing two dogs and posting the picture on Facebook.

Here's hoping this latest case of animal cruelty ends with justice and that's the last time someone thinks it's okay to kill somebody's pet.
