DALLAS COUNTY - You may know the name and the face, but how well do you know the man? Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins is in the passenger seat for this edition of Commuter Convo, as we get to know him on a more personal level.

He was born in Oak Cliff, before moving to Waxahachie to attend 4th grade through high school. Judge Jenkins is a Baylor alum, and he's got high hopes for his football team come fall, saying he thinks if Baylor beats TCU at the game in Fort Worth this fall, the Bears will head to the playoffs.

We also talked about last year's Ebola crisis. "At the time you're doing it, you don't have a lot of time to think. I'm a big believer that God never gives you anything that he doesn't give you the grace to handle," said Jenkins.

He also has some big plans for Dallas County. Near the top of that list: Creating more jobs and better jobs for the hard-working people in North Texas.
