FORT WORTH -- Ever been to the opera? No? Not to worry, the opera can come to you. Fort Worth Opera is moving their act from the Bass Performance Hall to the Rahr Brewery.

They're bringing opera back -- and what's cooler than chilling with a cold glass of brew?

"A lot of people are really excited about opera but they've just never been exposed to it, so you bring it somewhere where they're comfortable hearing it and everyone gets really excited," said Clara Nieman.

It’s a concept the Fort Worth opera callas Opera Shots, double shot of fun, with singing and drinking.

And there wasn't a sour note in this house!

Hey, you may not understand what they're singing about, but it's sure to give you the feels!

"But really it’s just so that people will go, 'Oh wow, that was really great. I think I want to experiment with that a little more,'" said Darren Woods, General Director of Fort Worth Opera.

So we got to thinking -- what other activities can you host at a bar?

You could move your Monday night sewing circle to da club, or maybe bring B-I-N-G-O to the bar!

These peeps seemed to enjoy the fun, but you know what they say about opera, it isn’t over until the fat lady sings.
