BROOKWOOD, Ala. — A routine basketball game between two high schools in Alabama had an anything but a routine outcome. Brookwood High School and Bibs County High School faced off and when the buzzer sounded at the end of the game the final score was a whopping 2-0! According to The National Federation of State High School Associations, the match up is the lowest scoring high school basketball game since 1977 and the only game on record to ever end in single digits in Alabama’s state history.
