DALLAS, TX --  It’s been a rough start to the new year for the city of Dallas. Overnight Saturday, six people died in three different shootings across the city.

In Deep Ellum, a 17-year–old was shot and killed on Main Street near Malcolm X Boulevard. The teen was shot in the chest. He was taken to near-by Baylor Medical Center where he died.

Dallas PD is still looking for the gunman.

Across town, cops were called to a house on Hillstar Circle. There, they found Patricia Tinajero shot to death, just days shy of her 34th birthday.

“Close to three in the afternoon yesterday, and I was walking home and I saw a guy going into the house," Brian Baker explained. "He peeped out his curtains and closed them. That’s all I know.”

Baker lives in the community where the double shooting happened. “Later on that night, about 11:40, 12 o’clock – I heard a couple of gun shots,” Baker added.

Another man was also found dead with a gunshot to his head. Cops believe this case could be a murder-suicide.

But the most violent scene unfolded early Sunday morning on the city’s southeast side. DPD says four people were shot at a house on Ben Hur Street. Two died at the scene, and another died at the hosptial.

A fourth victim underwent surgery; no word on their current condiditon.

So far, 2015 is already shaping up to be a deadly year.
