DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT -- So, did you enjoy your Thanksgiving get away?  If you flew out for the long holiday weekend, then, chances are -- you’re among the scores shuttling through DFW International.

“Come a little early and plan ahead,” one traveler said.

Yeah, Sunday and Monday are traditionally one of the busiest days at the airport, as everyone gets back into the work-week groove.

“Kinda sad to go home, I liked it here a lot,” another traveler said before boarding.

Let’s face it, traveling can sometimes be a drag; and we’re not talking about lugging around allthat luggage.  The parking, the lines, the security – it’s enough to steal your seasonal spirit.

"Most people are stressed and in a hurry,” Gidget Taylor said. Well,  that’s where friendly faces, like Gidget, step in.

"Hi guys, I’m with DFW airport, assisting travelers with their luggage. Do you need any assistance?”

That’s right, DFW International started a new porter program for the holiday. Folks like Gidget provide service with a smile, along with a helping hand.

"Helping people, that’s the best feeling ever, isn’t it?” Taylor said.

Hey, with the mantra: “Cheer Starts Here,” looks like Gidget has got this porter thing in the bag.
