DALLAS – Now we’ve all seen some pretty amazing things happen on a plane. Well, Southwest Air is taking their non-stop love to new heights –literally.

Two love birds boarded a bird from Nashville to Love Field and – complete with a flower girl – exchanged their ‘I-Do’s’ at 30,000 feet.

Southwest was so in love with the idea, they threw in tickets to a honeymoon in Puerto Rico.

Along with a plane full of unsuspecting strangers, there were 40 invited guests.

"Between the two of us, we had well over a million frequent flyer points,” Dottie Stewart said. “So we used the majority of them to purchase tickets for friends and family."

Sweet!

“The Nashville airport decorated our gate with all kinds of fun things, and we had a band,” Dottie Stewart said.

Well one thing’s for sure, this gives a whole new meaning to the ‘Mile High Club.’ Hey, let’s just hope there’s no turbulence between these two.
