GAINESVILLE, TX - The campus of North Central Texas College in Gainesville is covered with flowers and posters following the bus crash that killed four NCTC superstar softball players.

And the outpouring of support for this tiny Texas school has hit home.

“Immediately I get on Facebook and Twitter and people started to offer their thoughts and prayers because they heard about the wreck even before we announced it on our site,” said Darin Allred, PR specialist with NCTC.

“We are overwhelmed and appreciate all everyone is doing to come forward,” said NCTC President Dr. Brent Wallace.

Folks from all over the country have flooded the schools' Facebook and Twitter accounts. Even pro athletes are sending their prayers to the school, such as softball pro Jenny Finch and former quarterback Tim Tebow.

“We’ve received hundred and thousands of messages sending pictures of their teams that are playing in honor of NCTC Softball and the school,” Allred said.

Student Cindi Burk also feels the love and support for her school. “To me it makes me cry. I’m going to tear up right now, but it’s very warming that other people are thinking about it."

“It really proves two things: That the world is really a small palace, and that as a society when we come together, we can do a whole lot of good and spread a whole lot of good will when we put ourselves to that,” Dr. Wallace said.
