Worth the Wait? iPhone 6 Lives Up to the Hype

DALLAS -- The days of waiting, the hours of anticipation, and long lines of people are now over. The time has arrived for the release of Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

For gadget geeks, it certainly was a beautiful day because they have a chance at getting the hands on the latest smartphones.

And, you can see the difference. Apple lovers, who could not wait much longer, are falling in love with larger screens and faster software.

Some waited outside the Knox/Henderson Apple Store for nearly four days! The crowd of temporary campers grew as time passed.

By Thursday night, nearly 400 people were standing in line, waiting for the store doors to open Friday morning.

And those folks, who chose not to pre-order their phones online and not brave the elements, ran the risk of showing up and leaving empty-handed.

But, the people we talked to at the end of line said they aren’t going to be disappointed if it isn’t their lucky day.
