CUPERTINO, CA – Have you ever wondered who those guys are, always lining up outside the Apple stores days in advance, every time a new iPhone hits the market?  Rumor has it, they might be waiting for a paycheck or to re-sell the phone later at a higher price.

It’s a new day in the tech-universe and Apple is once again revolutionizing the way we talk to each other.  Larger, thinner, faster… and this time in duet.

“The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are without a doubt the best iPhones we’ve ever done,” said Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple.

Plus, a little companion: the iWatch, to put the time back on our wrists and all the apps that take over your life.

The iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches diagonally, and the iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches.  The new display comes with over 1 million pixels on the iPhone 6 and 2 million on the iPhone 6 Plus.    The 8-megapixel camera includes a faster autofocus and stabilization.  But most importantly, Apple says, the battery lives longer.

Pre-orders start this Friday, and the phones go on sale Friday September 19.  Prices?  iPhone 6 starts at $199 for a 16GB configuration and goes up to $399 for the 128GB model.  The iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 and climbs to $499 for the 128GB.   The watch will be available early next year for $349.

The future of expensive has been revealed.  Now, it’s up to the gadget-loving crowds to go spread the gospel.
