Cedar Hill, TX — Folks on Bristol Drive were awakened, not by a knock, but by a car going through a house.

“I hear a woman screaming like bloody murder,” said a neighbor who asked that her name nor identity be displayed.

“Awww man, I’ve been here six years and I had never seen nothing like this,” neighbor Bernardino Valdez added.

Officials say Scottey Davis crashed a beige sedan through his Cedar Hill home and pinned his wife in the bathroom. It all happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

“I was asleep and my wife called me, and she said there was an accident by the house,” Valdez said.

But this might have been no accident.

“Actually, he’s walking around for a minute, and they’re working on her for like 30 or 45 minutes trying to get her out,” she said.  “ I think they amputated her leg.  I don’t know. It was horrible.”

“Then they [the police] took him, then they took the lady into a helicopter.  She got hurt pretty bad,” Valdez mentioned.

The couple had allegedly been arguing prior to the crash.  Now Davis faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

“There was 9 kids and 5 adults living in that house at once.  They fought a lot, but never to this extent. I have my kids here.  It scares me,” she said.  “We’re trying to get out of Cedar because of anything like this.  It’s too much.”
