Veggie pizzas can be a bit boring… but not this one! This colorful combination is spicy, intriguing and delicious! It’s pretty too.
Jalapeño Avocado Pizza
- 1 precooked pizza crust (ideally whole wheat, i.e. Boboli works well)
- 5 oz. tomato sauce
- 1¼ cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno, sliced
- ½ small red onion, sliced
- 3 tbsp tomato, diced
- ½ avocado, thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 450F.
Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza crust, and then evenly distribute the cheese. Top with garlic, jalapeno, onion and tomato.
Bake for 10 minutes, directly on the oven rack.
Spread the avocado slices over the pizza.
