Fort Worth- If you’ve ever been cut off by a biker while running, or even worse, crashed into; fear no more.  Fort Worth is looking to change those dangers with the campaign ‘Share the Trail.’

One way the city is looking to implement a safer trail is by adding a slow zone on the Trinity Trail where congestion is prominent. That area is appropriately called ‘slow your roll.’

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, was in attendance on Saturday, and said she supports the safety change.

“We just want people to get educated,” Mayor Price said. “We want them to come out.  It’s perfect trail use time. And we’ve just had a party today a good time and people have learned a lot.”

It looks as though the new safety measure will be here for the long ride, or walk, or run.
