Local Republicans feel like they have to fight for their right to be openly gay?

Well, Metroplex Republicans and Log Cabin Republicans, took a stand Thursday to let fellow conservatives know that gay right-wingers exist and these Republicans aren’t hiding in the closet any longer.

“Gay Republicans and millennial Republicans feel excluded when language like this in a party platform that says that homosexuality tears at the fabric of society is allowed to be included by our party leadership,” said Gregory Angelo, Executive Director, Log Cabin Republicans.

This is why these activists are coming out to protest.

The party has refused to let them set up a booth at their annual convention in Fort Worth next week, all because of their pro-gay stance.

Hey what are Republicans so afraid of? Texas turning blue?
